Reach out

Sometimes you just need to talk to someone who gets it, and there's no one. This is for that.

A few honest things first. I'm not a therapist, a lawyer, or any kind of trained professional. I'm just a dad who's been where you are. I can't promise I'll always be available, or that I'll have the right answer, or any answer at all.

But fill it out anyway. Worst case, nothing comes of it. Best case, one night, one dad doesn't feel so alone. Ask me anything, ideas for what to do with the kids on your day, a co-parenting question, or just the thing you can't say out loud.

If you're in crisis or thinking about hurting yourself, please don't wait on me. I'm not an emergency service and I might not see this in time. In the US, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, free, 24/7) right now, or call 911. Reaching out there isn't weakness. It's the strongest thing you can do.
