Cookie Policy
Last updated July 13, 2026
Short version: nothing tracks you unless you say yes, and there are no ads either way.
What that means
- No advertising cookies, ever. I don't run ads and I don't use ad trackers.
- Analytics is opt-in. The first time you visit, a banner asks if it's okay to use analytics. Only if you choose "Okay" do I load PostHog, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, so I can see which posts actually help dads. If you consent, it may store an anonymous identifier in your browser (local storage, and possibly a cookie). I keep session recording turned off. If you decline, none of it loads.
- My hosting provider (Netlify) may set a small number of strictly necessary technical cookies to keep the Site secure and running. These aren't used to track you across other sites.
Links to other sites
If you click a link that opens Google Maps (for directions), Google may set its own cookies under its own policies. That happens on Google's side, not here, and is outside my control.
Managing cookies and analytics
You can decline analytics on the banner (or clear your browser storage anytime) and the Site works exactly the same. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, nothing here depends on them.
Changes
If this ever changes, I'll update the date above and describe what's new.
